Meet Priscila
Hi there! I'm a cooking teacher & recipe developper from Montreal, Canada. I learned about ingredients & how to transform them into delicious meals in my grandmothers' kitchens before I was old enough to go to school. Although I studied and worked in visual communications for over a decade, my passion for food, entertaining & teaching was never too far away. Weekends were spent teaching friends & family how to cook or simply spent experimenting with ingredients and creating delicious recipes for my son. In 2017, I founded Priscila's Kitchen and officially started my teaching business. Not long after, I became the official baking teacher of The Redpath Baking School web series, where I taught groups of amateur bakers how to personalize classic bakes for your entertainment. Even though I never considered myself a serious blogger, you may have caught one of my food articles & recipes on blogs like Stokes Stores, GlobalGlow & Étymologie.
2020 marks an exciting new chapter as I share my mission of making the kitchen a HAPPY place on cookeatlivehappy.com
What is the COOK.EAT.LIVE.HAPPY
philosophy?
It boils down to three actions that lead to an amazing outcome!
build kitchen confidence
COOK
+
EAT
learn about ingredients
=
+
LIVE
choose mindfully
heart & home
HAPPY
I believe intuitive cooking is the best way to learn and build confidence. It gives you the freedom to experiment with ingredients without feeling tied to a specific recipe list. It allows you to evolve your skills through learning about what you eat and the role each ingredient plays in a recipe. Choosing to take time for yourself, connect with others, learn new things and make more mindfull choices, is my recipe for a happy heart & home!
